Be a guest on the Build Your Edge podcast

This podcast exists to help people get better at what they do. If you have practical insight others can use, we want to hear from you.

What it’s about

Build Your Edge isn’t a stage for personal branding—it’s a platform for sharing tools and ideas that help people grow. Every episode centres on a downloadable asset—something the listener can take away and apply. That’s the guest’s edge.

What we expect from guests

  • You choose the topic—something sharp and useful
  • We plan the episode together in advance
  • The conversation revolves around the asset you leave behind
  • Expect a fast, direct, no-fluff discussion focused on helping the listener

What makes a great guest?

People with real experience, useful insights, and no interest in jargon. You might work in engineering, product, sales, finance, design, leadership—anywhere, really. What matters is whether your edge can sharpen someone else’s.

Who it’s for

Our listeners span industries and experience levels, but they all want to get better at how they think, work, and lead.

Leave something that lasts

Every episode is built around a takeaway—a checklist, framework, template, or tool. We’ll help you shape it, host it, and link to it from the episode. It’s what gives the conversation purpose—and makes it valuable long after it ends.

The process

We meet once to plan. Then we record, edit, and publish. The whole thing is invitation-only—for now—so if we reach out, it’s because we believe you’ve got something worth sharing.

The style

This is a thoughtful, focused conversation. Long-form answers are welcome—but not rambles. There are no interruptions. Some questions might be long, but they’re crafted to get to something useful. We give both the guest and the host time to finish their thought before moving on. The aim is clarity, not speed. Pauses and gaps can be edited out—so take your time to think clearly before you speak. The host will certainly give you the space you need.

Why it’s worth doing

If you’ve learned by doing and can share something that helps others grow, this is your chance to contribute to something useful.

It’s also an opportunity to sharpen your personal brand, demonstrate your credibility, and be recognised as someone with something valuable to offer.

We’re starting small, but we’re serious. The goal is a standout show that sharpens everyone who listens—including the people who take part.
