Freddie Quek is a Research Associate at Henley Business School and an award-winning technology leader, advisor, and NED. A former CTO at Times Higher Education, he helped build major data-driven products, including the World University Rankings and the SDG Impact Dashboard.

With a career spanning RELX, Wiley, Solera, scaleups, and startups, Freddie has led large-scale digital transformations, pioneered early adoption of NoSQL, and delivered complex strategic initiatives across multiple industries. He has been recognised by Computer Weekly and CIO 100 as one of the UK’s top technology leaders and has won numerous industry awards for innovation and delivery.

Freddie is the founder of #JoiningTheDots, co-founder of TechLinkUkraine, and Chair of the BCS Digital Divide Specialist Group, driving national efforts to tackle digital exclusion. He serves on the boards of the University of Bristol, eLife, and the BCS Influence Board, and is a Fellow of BCS.

He holds master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and Henley Business School, is an Oxford alumnus, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration focused on the future of technology leadership.
